The EIMR 2024 Conference will take place in the Pickaquoy Centre, Kirkwall. The Pickaquoy Centre, locally known as ‘Picky’, is recognised as a first class sports, arts, conference and social facility. The Picky includes Orkney’s largest cinema, two pools, a cafe, fitness classes, badminton courts, climbing wall, kids holiday camp, soft play, and more. It has hosted world class arts festivals, music events, exhibitions, conferences and sports competitions. Welcome Reception

The EIMR 2024 Welcome Reception will take place on Monday 15th April 2024, 18:00-19:30 in Orkney Distillery, Kirkwall. Orkney Distillery is situated on Kirkwall’s harbour front; the Orkney Distillery is the ideal attraction for gin enthusiasts looking for a quality visitor experience in the heart of Orkney’s main town. The Welcome Reception is an informal evening reception where all delegates are welcome to attend. Delegates are invited to the Welcome Reception whilst enjoying drinks and canapés. Conference dinner

The EIMR 2024 Conference Dinner will take place on Wednesday 17th of April 2024, 19:00 until late, in the Kirkwall and St Ola Town Hall and Community Centre. The town hall is situated in the centre of Kirkwall directly opposite the St Magnus Cathedral it is within walking distance of a number of prestigious hotels for those out of county, or island guests. Join us for an evening of food and drinks whilst you enjoy a unique mix of spell-binding vocals, intricately woven fiddle harmonies and energetic closers by the Fara band.
